A shared universe of fine art and ceramics
Anja Zenia & Martin Boldsen are an artist couple working where ceramics, painting and sculpture meet. Each with a distinct voice, they make work that shares an interest in form, colour, contrast and the pleasure of the senses.
Anja Zenia makes sculptural vases, functional pieces and ceramic works inspired by the shapes, rhythms and structures of nature. Her work balances the organic and the geometric, made with an eye for beauty, function and presence alike.
Martin Boldsen works in painting and stoneware sculpture, where the energy and contrast of colour frame stories about human relationships and inner landscapes. His work moves between the abstract and the figurative, inviting the viewer to look closely and find their own reading.
Together they create a living artistic universe where materials and expression are in conversation — in shared exhibitions and in meeting the people who come to see them.
